Franco-British organisation is looking for a bilingual HR Manager. You will be responsible for the recruitment and induction, development, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of robust HR processes and policies throughout the organisation. You will work closely with the organisation management team to implement policies and procedures, you will provide up to date HR advice and support suitable for the organisation environment, work independently to research and update HR policies and procedures, and will provide basic employment law advice. ROLE: Recruitment and Induction guide managers in the development of job descriptions and person specifications to set essential and desirable criteria;ensure safeguarding recruitment requirement for such organisation are applied on recruitment of all members of staff including volunteers;in conjunction with managers, review and update job descriptions and person specifications on an annual basis;develop and maintain an effective induction process and training for all staff including volunteers;Assist the management in the recruitment of French personnel Performance management, staff training assist managers in applying the staff performance appraisal system;with managers, motivate staff to engage in the performance management process;analyse training needs identified in performance review and from other sources;source relevant and cost effective training solutions;plan training sessions, including inductions for new staff and governors; Terms and conditions review the organisation's terms and conditions to ensure they are in line with employment legislation;advise pay committee on current pay scales and other remuneration questions; Employees' records ensure that employees records are created and maintained in accordance with employment law and the data protection act.Ensure that expat employees records are created and maintained as required HR Strategy Regularly liaise with the management and the Pay Committee, providing them with guidance, reports and recommendations in key HR areassupport the Head and Head of Finance in the provision of accurate and timely information related to HR policies and practicesto review the process of gathering and retaining personal information within personnel files; Employment law provide advice on basic UK employment law;ensure adherence to all HR process for example disciplinary, capability and absence procedures;promote HR in the organisation as an added value service;carry out general administration to support the HR service;liaise with all staff on HR matters. Operational duties develop and maintain good employee relations through a thorough knowledge of the organisation and understanding its objectives, whilst promoting good practiceEnsure that employment policies and procedures comply with legal requirements and are implemented with all managers to a high standardEnsure the organisation's Finance Director and chief accountant are informed of employees terms and conditions and personnel records for the purpose of payrollAssist the chief accountant if required in issues on payroll (paid leave, maternity or paternity leave, etc)Manage, mentor and develop the HR Administrator, ensuring work is delivered to a high standardProvide support and advice to all Managers, developing a professional and collaborative relationship with themWork efficiently with the HR Consultant and legal support as and when required;Ensure you maintain your legal and HR knowledge, attending relevant training courses and continuing CPD PROFILE: Fluent French and English (oral and written)Previous experience in HR in the UKGood knowledge of employment law and procedures (UK or French), ideally CIPD qualified or studying towards qualificationPrevious experience of working independently in an HR departmentExperience of HR systemsExperience of successfully multi-tasking.Enjoys working as part of a team.Takes the initiative in problem solving.Able to work on their own initiative.Has attention to detail SALARY: GBP43k/pa Excellent holiday package Pension scheme
