The Company are offering a Graduate position at their site near Glasgow. Working for a leading name in food production, your role will be; Accountable for seeking new business opportunities for the Company. For contacting and meeting relevant people in potential new businesses and for presenting to and securing new volume on company product range. Responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships cross functionally at all levels in order to identify opportunities and to further develop new business PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Growing volume through seeking and securing new business and through growing existing accounts Responsible for analysis of the commercial forecast and budgets to deliver improved business performance. To develop and maintain long-term business relationships within the selected accounts and ensure they are aligned to the company strategic objectives. To promote effective business relationships within the company by networking cross functionally to positively contribute to commercial teamwork. To develop profitable and meaningful long-term relationships within our national account base. To live and breathe the business vision and values to encourage teamwork with peers and colleagues. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Ideally a graduate Educated to degree level Experience in account management - previous work experience with a proven track record of working in an FMCG environment. Experience in retail, food service, would be an advantage. High level of confidence to present company NPD and the vision to new customers Excellent numerate, analytical and data interpretation skills plus understanding of company business drivers. Strong commercial acumen with ability to build, lead, negotiate and conclude profitable business plans A structured negotiator with the ability to develop branded and retailer brand business. A high level of drive and talent for building relationships internally across multi- sites and externally. Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations. Strong communications skills.
