Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They are now looking for a Clinical Laboratory Team Leader to join them in Manchester.

As the Clinical Laboratory Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our client’s clinical laboratory services.
Training, developing and leading your team, you’ll ensure that they perform analytical procedures to the highest standards and effectively allocate tasks to maximise productivity.
You’ll ensure that all lab-based testing for clinical diagnostics and trial samples are conducted accurately and in-line with our client’s operating procedures.
Additionally, you’ll carry out a variety of analytical tasks, including manual and automated screening methods, covering a wide range of clinical diagnostic tests. 
Your other duties will involve:
- Establishing and maintaining analytical procedures 
- Helping to review, confirm and report on lab results
- Advising colleagues on technical issues
- Keeping abreast of the latest developments in clinical diagnostics
Interested? To be considered, you must have:
- Previous staff supervisory and/or management experience
- A high level of IT literacy, including proficiency in MS Windows and Office packages
- A degree (or equivalent) at grade 2:1 or above in Biomedical Science with DPP, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology or a Life Science
Organised and analytical, as the Clinical Laboratory Team Leader, you must possess excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to learn and retain information quickly.  
Please note, this role involves working shifts of 6:00 – 14:40, 8:40 – 17:20 and 13:20 – 22:00, with occasional Saturday work.
