Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They are now looking for a number of Clinical Laboratory Scientists to join their team.

As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you’ll be responsible for performing a range of analytical procedures to support our client’s diagnostic testing activities.
 
You’ll carry out a variety of tasks, including manual and automated screening methods, covering a wide range of clinical diagnostic tests.
 
Preparing samples and diagnostic reagents, you’ll maintain and calibrate analytical instrumentation and troubleshoot any technical issues. 
 
Additionally, you’ll interpret analytical data and ensure that all documentation and records are completed, securely stored and archived as required.
 
Your other duties will involve:
 
- Analysing and submitting clinical proficiency testing programs
- Ensuring that all quality control checks are completed
- Adhering to custody procedures throughout the analytical process
- Completing Fit for Purpose Assessments for clinical assays
 
Interested? To be considered, you must have:
 
- A degree (or equivalent) at grade 2:1 or above in Biomedical Science with DPP, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology or a Life Science
- A high level of IT literacy, including proficiency in MS Windows and Office packages
 
Organised and analytical, as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you must possess excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to learn and retain information quickly.  
 
Please note, this role involves working shifts of 6:00 – 14:40, 8:40 – 17:20 and 13:20 – 22:00, with occasional Saturday work.
