The Position

We are looking for an experienced Heating/Plumbing Engineer to come and join the Retallack maintenance team. This position will require you to carry out repairs, installations and servicing, within occupied and empty properties within Retallack Resort while maintaining the high level of customer care to all of our guests.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to hot and cold water systems, sanitary ware and drainage systems
• Liaise with lodge owners, guests and site staff as required regarding timing and progress of work being under taken
• Ensure safe handling and storage of all plant and equipment
• Identify and carry out minor tasks from associated trades
• Assist with the development of future site plans and projects, including liaising with suppliers  and contractors as and when required
• Required to work within the out of hours emergency call out system
• Carry out all work in accordance with Health and Safety policy and safe working practices

The Person

• Gas Safe certification is required
• Be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• The ability to work confidently and efficiently
• A hands on engineer with excellent fault finding skills
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• NVQ or equivalent gas or plumbing qualification
• Full UK driving Licence
• Understanding of COSHH regulations

Additional information

40hrs a week on a rota basis to also include weekends and evenings.
