General Manager - Gradbach
Our client are situated on a stunning 16 acre site in the heart of the Peak District - it comprises accommodation for 46 people in ensuite rooms in two adjacent buildings.
The Centre opened for business in early 2016 and they are now seeking to appoint an outstanding General Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations.
You will be responsible for all operational aspects of the management of the Centre including bookings, customer relations, liaising with partners, staffing, site management and budgets.
You will have a proven track record in hotel/hospitality/customer service sectors, together with relevant qualifications for running a residential establishment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious manager to play a leading role in establishing Gradbach as the foremost centre of its type in the midlands.
Gradbach will be different from other Centres in that it will operate as both a commercial residential leisure/tourism venue and an outdoor education centre. In recognition of this unique blend, the company are keen to attract applicants from a wide range of backgrounds - these may include small hotels / residential Centres, tourism, activity leadership, customer service, attraction parks etc. Their priority is to appoint a Manager who can deliver the objectives for all areas of the business.

In addition to a competitive salary, on-site accommodation is available (if required) in a separate cottage and there will be access to a 4WD vehicle.
