Logistics / Transport Supervisor - circa £22,000 pa

This is an exciting opportunity to join them in a new venture working within the medical/health industry. The position requires someone with an 'eye for detail', the ability to think on their feet and a 'can do' attitude.

You will be a key member of the team and pivotal to the delivery of an outstanding service delivery.

Responsibilities will include (but is not limited to):-

- Control of core service delivery
- Booking, recording and allocation of jobs
- Daily/regular communication with our customer
- Driver supervision
- Regular reporting to the Contract Manager
- Updating reporting system
- Resolving any issues arising regarding deliveries
- Ensuring timely service

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:-

- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Ability to work under own initiative and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Numerate and able to maintain data accuracy
- Be able to demonstrate excellent computer skills.
- Ability to communicate well, both written and verbally
- Previous experience working in a transport role
- Good geographic knowledge of the Essex area
- Full, clean UK driving licence

Monday to Friday 45 hr week - Hours may vary and you will need to be flexible at times. Occasional weekends and call out rota may be necessary.
