Male Support Worker Job in Plymouth - Complex Care

We’re looking for caring and experienced Male Support Workers to join our friendly Plymouth Complex Care branch, working in and around the local area with adults and/or children.

Our shifts are based on a structured weekly basis, with both full and part time hours available, so you will know your shifts in advance. Work your choice of days, nights or weekends in the local area!

A conscientious and compassionate approach makes an incredible difference in the daily life of anyone you care for, therefore you will need to be a confident advocate, recognising the potential of the individual and championing their needs.You will need to have experience of working with clients with mental health disabilities, learning disabilities or challenging behaviour.

Daily tasks may include supporting clients with their domestic routines, socialisation and educational activities.

• Salary of up to £15.09/hr, paid weekly including holiday pay

In order to be considered for this position you will need the following:

• Right to live and work in the UK
• At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a similar role working with children and/or adults
• Referee contact details for your current place of work and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs.
• Access to your own transport is essential
• You must also be willing to get business insurance for you vehicle.
