Customer Support Executive

Creme d'Or is a specialist confectionery importer and distributor with 25 years experience, working closely with over 40 premium suppliers from across Europe, many of which are exclusive. Offering bespoke and branded products, our aim is to provide a comprehensive solution for all of our customer's requirements.

We are currently recruiting into our Customer Support team due to expansion of our business. The role will be working as part of a fluid team who are providing support across our customer base, from smaller high street shops to large national accounts.

The salary is £16,000.

The role is 37 hours per week, with core hours being between 09:00-17:30 Monday to Thursday and 09:00-17:00 on a Friday. As part of a team rota, you will also be required to cover early starts (08:30) and late finishes (18:00).

Key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Answering inbound calls.
  • Taking orders via phone, email, fax or post.
  • Accurate inputting of orders on the system.
  • Handling customer queries, problems and complaints in the best interests of both the customer and the company.
  • Exhaustively root causing issues and reporting back to your line manager.
  • Providing help and advice to customers as required and assign calls to other functions where appropriate.
  • Booking orders in for delivery.
  • Sending samples, images and prices to customers on request.
  • Reporting on issues relating to service and delivery.
  • Close working with warehouse to jointly manage accurate order despatch.

Previous experience of office based customer service along with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is absolutely essential.

You will need to be able to think on your feet, be flexible in your approach to problem solving, have excellent attention to detail and work well as part of a team.
