Tendering and Bid Assistant

Nottingham

£16,797 to £18,621 per annum | 30 hours per week

In order to secure vital services for people affected by stroke, our specialised team prepares and submits high quality tender and bid responses to local authorities and health commissioners. We are currently seeking a Tendering and Bid Assistant who will provide professional and effective support to facilitate the bidding process.

Working closely with the Tendering and Bid Manager and Tender Writers, the Tendering and Bid Assistant will contribute to the knowledge, skills and capacity of the Business Development Team through maintaining a library of information, documents and records, as well as completing Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and supporting the wider team as required.

This exciting and varied role requires a highly motivated individual with exceptional organisational skills and written English, who is experienced in dealing with all levels of staff and providing a customer-focused service. Knowledge of the social care sector would be a distinct advantage.

The Stroke Association is the leading UK stroke charity. We have been leading the fight against stroke for over 20 years. We influence and campaign to improve stroke care and support people to make the best possible recovery.

This is a very exciting time for our charity and we hope you will join us on our journey. We believe in a world where there are fewer strokes and all those touched by stroke get the help they need.

We fund world-class research to develop new treatments and ways to prevent the devastation of stroke. Breakthroughs in treatment have halved the number of people dying from stroke in the UK but it is still the second biggest killer in the world. That is why we are involved in projects across the globe.

Join us and together we can conquer stroke.
