Buyer (Manufacturing)

Opportunity for a Buyer join a well established manufacturing business in Lincoln.

You will be working within a stable business based in Lincoln that have a proud history within the local area.

Your new role
Reporting into the Purchasing Manager you will be providing a professional procurement service to the operations and manufacturing teams, operationally you will be responsible for a £4m spend on direct procurement managing order placement and expediting of all purchase requirements. You will also undertake projects as assigned by the Purchasing Manager on cost reduction initiatives on the indirect categories.

What you'll need to succeed
We are seeking a proactive person with recent purchasing experience, ideally gained within manufacturing or FMCG who possesses excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
