A blend of experience, strength and vision…

Assistant Director Development
£77k

October saw Housing Plus and Severnside Housing join together to form Housing Plus Group. With 12,000 homes in Shropshire and Staffordshire, 600 employees and an annual turnover of £65m, it's a blend that offers more choice for our customers, colleagues and partners. Our increased capacity and reach means that we can now implement our ambitious plans to build more homes, create more choice, and do more for our communities.  And we need exceptional senior professionals to deliver the promises we've made.

Increasing the capacity and resources available for development is one of the principal strategic drivers for our new structure, and it's critical that we have the highest calibre of professional leadership to deliver our ambitious targets. You'll work to raise the profile of the Group as a developer, working with partners to secure sites and develop them to meet identified demand. It's a rare opportunity to take a leading role in an optimistic, clear-sighted and outcome-focused business, with excellent career potential and job satisfaction from day one.

You'll bring extensive experience of development and professional credibility, including a thorough knowledge of the HCA development process, and will have the communication and negotiation skills required to take our development programme to the next level. This will include the delivery of our commercial property portfolio consisting of outright sale, market rent, shared ownership and leasehold properties  to meet demanding sales targets. We're keen to hear from creative, values-led candidates, who are passionate about customer satisfaction. In return, we'll give you all the support you need to explore your full potential.

Closing date: noon, Monday 5 December 2016.
