A teacher who is passionate about teaching English in particular is required for this maternity cover post. The post involves teaching English only in the mornings to classes of up to 17 children from Years 5 & 6. In the afternoons both year groups learn together. Planned recruitment may allow the position to become permanent.  The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and all staff require an enhanced DBS disclosure.  Candidates should evidence their strengths in their application and address the person specification requirements.
