The Application & Collaboration Services team within Information Systems is responsible for the delivery and support of endpoint software and services to support the University's everyday business activities. Our Unified Communications Team is currently looking for a Technical Support Analyst to support the administration and configuration of technical software and systems providing Voice, Messaging and Unified Communications across the University.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team who manage the Universities communication systems. There will be particular focus on support and administration of SharePoint Online, Office365 and collaboration. Working closely with colleagues from Information Systems, local specialist technicians and academic staff to ensure the best delivery of services in a timely manner.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Technical Support Analyst with significant experience of Microsoft Communication technologies and the deployment of them in a large complex environment. You will play a lead role in the deployment, management and championing of Microsoft SharePoint within the team. You will have excellent prioritisation and time management skills - ensuring a high standard of delivery at all times, excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of fixed and dynamic teams. Current Microsoft Certifications (Communication) are advantageous. Working in the wider team knowledge of the following systems and products would also be an advantage: Microsoft ADFS, AADsync, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Enterprise Voice and Microsoft Azure.
