Car Purchase Manager - Dundee - No experience required
Our client is a famous name in the worldwide automotive industry, their global services cover auctions, remarketing, logistics and much more. They have an enviable standing in the used car market and have embarked on a programme to maximise on this position. As part of their strategy they operate a car buying service to provide their customers directly with prime stock and we are looking for candidates that can fulfil the role of buyer within that division.
To be considered for the role of Car Purchasing Manager,you must be an experienced sales professional with a good knowledge and interest in cars. Based at the centre and working to a strict appointment system, the successful candidate will interact with customers face to face and over the phone in a professional manner and follow up on visitors to their online system with the ultimate aim of appraising their vehicles and offering a purchase price. The ideal candidate will be confident with strong engagement and interpersonal skills and be able to put customers at ease whilst building rapport and trust, therefore face to face customer experience with great customer service is a prerequisite for this position. This is a fast paced role with a company in the growth phase of their development and only candidates with a strong work ethic need apply.
There will be full training given and you will work from a supplied appointment system once the training is completed. Management promotion prospects are also to be considered as the Company embark on a planned and extensive expansion program. No vehicle purchasing experience is required however ideally you will have a good understanding and keen interest in cars.
Very limited travel required, however as this is a customer driven environment, you will need to be available up to 6 days a week 9.30am till 6.30 pm including weekends and some evening appointments outside of these hours to facilitate customer requirements.
A full and valid UK driving licence is required.
Salary is paid as a basic of GBP17,500 with an OTE of GBP35,000 - GBP40,000pa uncapped, giving real earning potential for successful and talented individuals.
