Communications Officer x2 Our client a large public sector organisation require two Communications Officers to design and implement campaigns and communications activities and products (both on-line and traditional hard-copy format) at a corporate and local level, often in partnership with other organisations and partner bodies, To help govern and ensure the consistent application and protection image and brand across all communications platforms. The role will include contributing to the development of an annual strategy of audience-led, multi-media communications campaigns, Lead on the delivery of a personal portfolio of communications campaigns, to meet agreed objectives and targets, Ensure effective delivery of individual campaign activities and targets, working with officers across the Directorate as required. Commission, brief, manage and evaluate the work of design contractors, illustrators, copywriters, media agents, etc in line with protocols (including the corporate identity guidelines). Provide advice to client departments and contractors on a range of campaign communications issues, Develop and maintain productive relationships with external organisations such as partners, contractors, professional bodies, voluntary sector, media and local and national government bodies Skills Required: Educated to degree level or equivalent or relevant and significant experience in campaigns or events management or marketing (CIM, CIPR etc),Demonstrable experience and specialist knowledge regarding campaigns / events management, Strong evidence of designing, delivering and evaluating effective communications campaigns that have integrated media, marketing, digital, design, research and internal communications activities and have delivered on objectives.Demonstrable experience in generating new and creative ideas.
