Role - Junior Account Manager Location - Home Based Competitive Salary & Benefits Great opportunity within our Capita Software Services business for a Junior Account Manager About the role This role is part sales, part sales and pre-sales support in approximately equal measures, with the following key objectives: Responsible for developing and realising account management opportunities for Advantage Impact and other relevant Capita solutions, in the Social Housing and Public Sector;Supporting the Sales Manager in his day to day activities;Developing, managing and sustaining relationships with existing customers - this includes administrating new and specific allocated accounts;Developing into full Account Manager role About Capita | Capita Software is part of The Capita Group, a FTSE100 company. There is a need to appoint an Assistant Account Manager specifically to support the Advantage Impact care and support software solution. What you will do: Responding to customer and prospect queries, manage the customer and Capita relationship, answering tender responses, source and manage sales opportunities within the assigned customer accounts, attendance at meetings and follow the opportunity lifecycle through to successful completion. Supporting the sales and administration of software solutions to the appropriate level of quality and according to planned and agreed timescalesContact (including sales of our range of products and services) with customers assigned to he/she, building a strong working relationship.Maintain our customer data and transactions on our CRM system and monitor and record all customer and sales related information.Attend regular sales meeting with the Sales Manager and Sales Team.Complete and process some quotations and other documents ensuring all relevant details are present for production and processing - coordinates the preparation of some but not all written quotes and proposals.Provide speedy reply and a courteous and professional manner when dealing with customer requirements.Formal reporting on progress on a regular basis for the Sales ManagerAttend User Group meetings and other forums as required by the Sales ManagerBy establishing processes and implementing appropriate governance, ensure appropriate levels of quality, and review documentation produced by the sales team as requiredEarly identification of potential problems with customer accounts, along with strong communication back to the Sales Manager as appropriate Your experience will include: Clear thinking and ability to present ideas.
