This 'Good' SEN school is looking for a SEN Teaching assistant to work in the Secondary Department starting as soon as possible. The role will run until the end of the academic year but could become a permanent position for the right candidate in September 2017.

The school has good transport links by rail and Piccadilly line to central London and is easily accessible from central London Ealing, Slough, Fulham, Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hounslow, Hillingdon and Richmond.

This is a 'Good' SEN school with 'Outstanding' care for all pupils, including 'Outstanding' in the Autism accreditation. The school cover all year groups from Early Years to Sixth form so pupils feel at home whilst at school. There is an on-site school psychologist, behaviour co-ordinators, speech and language therapist and occupational therapists. There will be a minimum of 1 staff member to every 2 pupils at any given time, so you are supported throughout the day and there is a maximum of 8 pupils in a class. Classes at this school are matched in terms of peer relationships and ability.

For this position you must:

* have a positive attitude
* have Special needs school experience
* be familiar with the National Curriculum and able to adapt it to P Levels
* have experience of working in UK schools

And ideally you will:

* have worked with children with ASD and children with behaviour that can challenge
