A highly varied Receptionist role based in Ham Green (Bristol BS20). Salary GBP17-20,000 plus extremely generous benefits package (including 23 days' holiday + bank holidays + refresher days + excellent company pension + private medical insurance + income protection benefit + life insurance + free parking etc.) I am recruiting a Receptionist for Paradigm Norton, one of the South West's leading financial planning firms, based in Ham Green, Bristol (BS20) - less than 10 minutes from both junction 19 of the M5 and Clifton suspension bridge. This is a newly created and highly varied role. As Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for Paradigm Norton's clients and visitors and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office. We are looking for a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic individual with both excellent communication and administrative skills. Receptionist duties include: Answering and screening incoming telephone calls and ensuring the caller is responded to promptly and effectively, and taking messages as required.Meeting clients and all other visitors to Paradigm House and providing a warm welcome at all times.Opening and distributing incoming post and collecting and franking all outgoing post in a timely manner.Scanning, filing and typing of documents as required.Coordinating meeting rooms and arranging refreshments as required.Ordering office and printed stationery, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained at all times and managing office recycling.Overseeing office maintenance, ensuring it is well presented at all times.Assisting with organising team events, ie. Christmas Party, Annual Team Day.General administration tasks as required. Receptionist and Administration skills and experience required: 2 years + experience in a varied and involved office administration or receptionist role.Smart and professional appearance with a confident manner and a 'can-do' attitude.Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and face to face.Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a good eye for detail.Good IT skills - knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
