Merchandiser We are a successful, independent retailer that have been trading for over 30 years and are looking for an exceptional Merchandising Manager to own and manage the product trade activity across all consumer channels. This is a newly created role to support the growth of online/offline trade and communication of the brand. Requirements Experienced commercially orientated manager (trading instincts)Proven ability to manage multiple contact points across the businessDemonstrable experience of creating, managing & reporting on a cross channel promotional planTrack record of delivery of sales & margin growth in previous rolesProven analytical ability to drive continuous improvement to programmeExamples of innovative thinkingAbility to optimise creative execution Key Responsibilities Development of annual cross-channel promotional planDevelopment of cross-channel creative execution of promotionsAnalysis of prior activity to inform promotional planManagement of promotional team (head office & extended)Monitoring of competitive activityLiaise with supply chain to ensure stock availability for promotionsLiaise with Buying to ensure integration with category & brand plansLiaise with internal creative teams to deliver consistent visual impact across all channelsLiaise with all Marketing channel managers (web, retail, catalogue)Liaise with Pricing team (head office & remote) to ensure consistencyLiaise with Data Team for programme performanceConduct full review of Promotional activityIncrease speed of executionEnsure cross-channel consistency (across catalogue/web//retail)Drive innovation into the promotional programme Character Traits Trading Instinct - commercially savvy, continually reviewing performance & looking for improvementConfidence - ability to present well in front of senior management,Analytical - turn data into actionDriven - get action from other parts of the business, move at speed The package Up to ??50,000 basic salaryAnnual bonus structureChildcare VouchersCycle to work scheme25 days holiday allowancePension schemeProfit ShareLife Assurance
