Training & Development Supervisor

Salary/Package: Circa GBP25k basic plus benefits package (25 days holiday + stats, health cash plan, life assurance and gym/travel/lifestyle discounts)The Company: I am currently working on behalf of a market leading, pension's niche financial services firm who specialise in offering advice in the at-retirement marketplace who are looking to recruit a Training and Development Supervisor into the internal compliance function based from their East Leeds head-office.The Role: You will work in partnership with the internal compliance teams to identify training needs and support colleague improvement through feedback, coaching, development and workshop delivery. You will assist the T&D department with monitoring the internal sales function across equity release and pension income and maintain the T&C framework of the group. In addition to this you will conduct file reviews and call observations to ensure regulatory standards across advice given and work closely to maintain T&C documentation, processes and efficiencies within the site. The head of function is also looking for someone to assist with compilation of MI for distribution to the wider business and deal with training issues, constantly tweaking the delivery of these to suit adviser needs. As a supporting requirement to the aforementioned you will need to also Maintain a good working knowledge of the Equity Release and/or Pension Income market in which the Company operates, including competitor activity and regulatory updates as the market is ever changing and you will be responsible to advisers regarding this update information, as relevant. The Person: You will come with hands-on, practical experience of working with a mortgage/private wealth arena having been involved in compliance and T&C workload within this space. Relevant industry (Cemap/Cerer/FPC) qualifications aren't essential at this stage although they would be advantageous should they support your previous work, but an openness to study and develop in this area is required.
