Lloyds Banking Group are one of the largest participants in the UK Governments 'Help to Buy Scheme' and recently supplied 1 in 5 of all UK mortgage loans whilst helping over 89,000 first time buyers. As a business at the heart of the UK property market we are looking to recruit a number of Customer Advisors at our Edinburgh site to support customers though their journey of taking out a mortgage with the bank Start Date: 14th November Rate of Pay: GBP8.70 ph, equivalent to GBP15,834pa Benefits: Access to a company healthcare scheme, generous holiday allowance, discount on selected purchased or leased cars via the cars4staff. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm Site details: Pentland House can be easily reached by bus or train with Edinburgh Park Train Station just a ten minute walk away. The site is located close to South Gyle Shopping Centre and boasts a subsidised on site canteen. Please note no holidays can be taken within the first 8 weeks of starting in the role Responsibilities: Work closely with Mortgage Brokers to process customers mortgage applicationsEnsure that the initial contact with customers is professional, gives a clear expectation and sets out the steps involved in the applicationMaintain regular telephone contact with customers and update them on the progress of their applicationClarify a customer's understanding of information being givenRespond to a range of customer enquiries and deliver a positive customer experience by phone, email and letterCarry out all activities in line with bank processes and legislative requirements, such as Money Laundering SanctionsEnsure any, and all, complaints are resolved at the first point of contact and within 48 hoursContribute towards the performance of a team objectiveIdentify and raise ideas for continuous improvement to add value to the end to end processTaking ownership for upskilling and multiskilling own abilities in line with peers and role requirements, keeping up to date with process and policy changes.
