As a Cover Supervisor you will have a strong classroom presence and experience of working with young people in a teaching or non-teaching capacity. You will cover for absent colleagues taking an active role in teaching the work set, engaging with students and upholding the academy’s high expectations.
No two days will be the same. You will be required to undertake admin and other support duties as directed when not providing cover. You will receive strong support from a “Flagship” inclusion school, and will participate in all aspects of life at the academy.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the first All Ability Academy in Bucks, recently rated Good by Ofsted. Currently there are approximately 950 pupils, including a vibrant Sixth Form, and the academy’s popularity means that the number is increasing each year.
Salary: Bucks Payscale 3 £20,957 pro rata equating to £15,611.55) PA
Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm (30 mins lunch)
Start: 4 January or as soon as possible thereafter
Contract type: Term time + Insets (39 weeks of the year)
