Salary £24,970 + £1250 essential car user allowance per annum
Full Time 35 hours per week

We are seeking an Assistant Health and Safety Advisor to work in the North of England, based at one of our offices in Shipley, Burnley or Middlesbrough. This role would be particularly suitable for someone who is relatively newly qualified in environmental health or health and safety, and is keen to gain further experience.
Your work will cover aspects of housing and facilities management and we require an excellent communicator who is committed to delivering a positive H&S culture. You must be willing to travel as you will be supporting the Senior H&S Advisor to deliver a H&S service to our northern regions.
Your role is to ensure Accent’s H&S Policies and Procedures are implemented, monitored and continually developed, ensuring that Accent fulfils its moral and legal responsibilities for the H&S of staff, residents and visitors.
Ideally you will have a Degree in Environmental Health (BSc or MSc), or a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent H&S qualification with knowledge of Health and Safety legislation. However access to a car for work with a valid driving licence is essential.
