Senior Workshop and Infrastructure Technician
As a Senior Workshop and Infrastructure Technician, you will work in a team to provide a high quality electrical and mechanical repair service covering the School’s laboratory, controlled environment and fixed plant equipment over 4 sites. You will also assist with the design, fabrication and modification of lab research and teaching equipment, maintenance and programming of controlled environment cabinets and electronic control units and sensors as specified by academic staff. This work will be underpinned by maintaining accurate records of jobs undertaken.
You will have an electronics qualification, to at least ONC/HNC/HND level or equivalent experience, and have experience in fault finding electronic, electromechanical and mechanical equipment. You will also have the ability to be flexible and confident whilst working in a busy environment.
