Are you a qualified and experienced KS2 primary teacher seeking a new career challenge and are available to start in January 2017? Are you passionate about delivering creative and fun lesson plans to a class?

A medium sized primary setting in the centre of Brighton, East Sussex is looking to bring on an experienced Year 6 teacher to cover a maternity cover contract starting in January 2017 for 2 x terms. This is a great opportunity to become part of a warm and friendly setting that was most recently graded 'Good' at it's last Ofsted inspection. Children are encouraged to be creative and 'learning through play' is a core value of this school.

We ask that all applicants have the following to be considered for the role:
- PGCE certification
- BA Honours Degree in Education
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Working knowledge of the national curriculum for KS2
- Minumum of 2 years experience teaching KS2 year group classes
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Subject specialism in Maths or English would be desirable
- Drive and passion for education


Responsibilities:
- Planning, marking of pupils work, pupil assessment for a Year 6 class
- Attending parent evenings
- After school clubs and extracurricular activities when required
- Accompanying pupils on school excursions
- Delivering enaging and energetic lessons
