Care Worker - Live in
Caring Hands Group are looking for quality staff to join their expanding team delivering exceptional care to older people in their own homes and supporting people with dementia, or a learning disability to live an independent and fulfilling life.
Caring Hands Group has positions available for Live in Care Workers in the Penwortham, Chorley and Lytham areas.

You will be employed to work within clients’ homes to provide a timely, flexible and complementary role over varied shifts, to include waking nights and live-in care several days a week. We have people we support waiting for your specialist care, so apply as soon as possible for these rewarding roles.
The aim of this level of support is to enable clients to remain at home with as much independence as possible and to support them in achieving a good quality of life and improving their life outcomes. Clients’ personal preferences must be respected at all times.
You will be expected to carry out the tasks in a professional, discreet and caring manner whilst respecting the clients’ dignity, privacy, property and confidentiality.
As a Live in Care Worker you will provide personal and practical care and support services for clients with a wide range of needs and in their own home, including:
- Assisting with Personal Care, including skin care, bathing, shaving, toileting, dressing
- Enabling mobility and taking clients out (due to the nature of our work, being a driver with access to a car is really important)
- Assistance with menu planning, preparing, serving and storing of foods.
- Assisting the people we support to lead fulfilling lives through leisure, socialising, hobbies
- Assist with medications
- Day to day household tasks e.g. changing beds, laundry, ironing, shopping.
- Reporting & Recording as per company procedure.
- Commitment for identifying and fulfilling ongoing personal development for the people we support
- Ensuring health and safety and adhering to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Staff will have to undertake DBS check and complete relevant training as required by CQC
