Location: Birmingham

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications + Share Options

We are seeking a versatile C#/.Net desktop software developer to help build world class smart device data recovery solutions for WindowsOS. Our software solutions are sold globally in multiple languages to over 170 countries; this will be an excellent opportunity for a developer wanting experience on how deploy desktop software at scale.

The position will offer a deep insight into the latest iOS& Android smartphones, cloud storage, tablets and digital storage devices such as hard drives, SD card and flash drives.

You will be working with an innovative, dynamic and technically strong team who are quickly making products that are becoming global market leaders in consumer data recovery solutions. Enigma is a very ambitious VC funded Birmingham technology based business whom have invested over £2 million in the last 3 years.

Essential Skills of the C#/.net Desktop Software Developer:

  • C#/.Net3.5 and greater
  • WCF
  • WPF + XAML
  • SQLite

Programming concepts you will master:

  • Model-View-View Model design pattern(MVVM)
  • Inversion of control pattern
  • Multithreading (async pattern)

Desirable skills of the C#/.Net Desktop Software Developer:

  • C++knowledge
  • Experience across the full development lifecycle on software systems.
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Continuous Integration (Teamcity for Windows)
  • know how around Android devices to handle rooting, firmware flashing process
  • Batch scripting (MSDos)
  • Linux shell
  • Experience with some crash analytics tools and business analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Raygun and Google analytics.
