Administrator - financial services

An opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join a building society's small, but friendly, Compliance team, based in their Head Office in the centre of the historic city of Bath. The Society offers a range of mortgages and savings products, through their branches and agencies, and via intermediaries and direct. They pride themselves on offering a personalised service.

The administrator assists the compliance team in a wide range of tasks relating to financial services regulation. This includes helping with audits of Head Office departments and branches.

You will need to be a team player, quick to learn, with an ability to meet challenging deadlines, whilst providing excellent customer service and working well under pressure.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office would be desirable, but is not essential as full training will be given.

Previous experience in financial services or compliance is not required, although the successful applicant must commit to obtaining, within an agreed timescale, Level 3 Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) qualification.

Salary £17,000 to £19,000 pa, subject to experience. In addition, the Society offers 23 days holiday (plus bank holidays), and other benefits, such as a money purchase pension scheme, life assurance cover and medical cash benefit insurance. Some benefits are subject to a minimum length of service.

Closing date is 16th December.
