This is an exciting opportunity to join the first All Ability Academy in Bucks. Currently there are approximately 950 pupils, including a vibrant Sixth Form, and the Academy’s popularity means that the number is increasing each year. Learning Support Assistant role:

The Learning Support Assistant (LSA) will support pupils' learning in the classroom as well as some one to one and small group work. As a Learning Support Assistant you must have a high standard of literacy skills, together with a sense of humour and flexibility. Experience of working in a secondary school environment is desirable but not essential.

The Learning Support Assistant role may suit a person wishing to join the teaching profession. We offer a full training programme. We are also a School Centred Initial Teacher Training establishment.

The Highcrest Academy is fully committed to safeguarding children (policies on web). All members of staff are in a “regulated” role under the Vetting & Barring Scheme and have to be DBS cleared prior to employment.

Salary: £14,935 pro rata pa (equating to £11,981.38 pa)
Hours: 35 per Week, 39 weeks (term time + insets)
