Supporting the development of the PPM programme that will deliver best value to the business, the Reliability Engineer will investigate failures and reliability to develop PM, using root cause analysis trigger points and carry out audits in conjunction with the Health & Safety Manager as appropriate.
Assisting maintenance with the management of SAP and BEX systems, with Capital and Heavy Maintenance Projects and in Prioritising & Plan for work orders, you must produce CAD drawings for the manufacture of spare parts for in house production an/or external contractors and liaise with external contractors and arrange permits, RAMS as required.
Completing assigned re-active actions raised through observations and other mechanisms in a timely manner, you will be responsible for ensuring that all data logged into company systems is accurate and capable of monitoring and challenging improvement plans to ensure progress is maintained.
Candidates for this role should hold a relevant manufacturing / engineering degree (or HND, BTEC Professional Level 5 Award or equivalent NVQ Level 5 qualification) and preferably hold a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt qualification. With proven, demonstrable success within a reliability based role, you should have knowledge of plant reliability practices, preventive/predictive maintenance practices, mechanical/electrical integrity, failure analysis and efficiency measurement and ideally hold a Health and Safety qualification.
