Due to rapid expansion, we are looking to recruit a number of claims handlers to work within a liability claims environment. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career within the diverse world of insurance. Solid communication skills and desire to progress will be the key to your success, coupled with attention to detail and initiative to apply a common sense approach. No claims handling experience is necessary however experience of working in a customer centric background would be advantageous. Full training will be provided along with the opportunity to take further professional qualifications including CILEx/ CILA.

As a Travel Claims Handler, you primarily deal with with Personal Injury claims involving claimants that have an accident or suffered illness during their holiday abroad.

We're looking for self motivated people who can work well within a service level driven environment without compromising technical ability, as you'll be handling your own caseload and will have the opportunity to apply your confidence and judgement to investigate the claim fully.

About you:

As well as the above skills, you'll have strong communication skills, both written and verbally, a 'can-do' approach to your work. You'll also:

  • Ideally be educated to an A level standard or higher
  • Have initiative to report any sensitive contentious or very high value claims
  • Following appropriate learning, be able to apply a thorough knowledge of current case law, statute etc
  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Be a strong team player
  • PI claims handling is desirable but not essential
