We are seeking a Maths teacher for a school in South Manchester on a temporary basis to begin with, with the possibility of going permanent. The school are looking for an experienced teacher to join an improving school. The school are also happy to consider applications from NQT's.

Overview of duties:
To work closely with the Head of Mathematics to provide students with the very best learning experiences.
You will also be expected to contribute to the growth of this core subject area, being responsible for providing support, guidance and motivation to teaching staff and Learning Support Assistants.
You must also be able to contribute and share ideas and strategies that impact on classroom learning.
Specific responsibilities:
Planning, preparation and delivery of curriculum
Providing engaging and interactive lessons
Communicating with parents and carers over pupils progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
Participating in and organising extracurricular activities, such as outings, social activities and sporting events
Preparing pupils for qualifications and external examinations
Requirements:
PGCE
Teaching experience of Maths to Key Stages 3 & 4
Exemplary behaviour management and the resilience to overcome barriers to learning
Excellent organisational skills
An ability to promote effective teaching and learning
Enthusiasm, commitment and flexibility
