BUSINESS AND ADMINISTRATION APPRENTICE (Human Resources)

Term Time; 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum

Starting Salary: £170 per week, rising to £200 per week after successful probationary period (actual salary: £7,524 per annum, rising to £8,852 per annum

Period of training: 12 - 24 months (to be agreed prior to commencement of duties)

Predominantly working alongside the Human Resources Manager, you will provide highly confidential, efficient and comprehensive administrative support on a wide range of HR services and activities. 

Furthermore, you will gain experience and knowledge by providing general support across other Business Services functions within the College. 

Your meticulous attention to detail along with your strong service ethos and ability to cope with conflicting demands will be fundamental to your success. In addition, you will need to demonstrate outstanding literacy, numeracy, communication and ICT skills. 

This is a fixed term, term time contract. The successful candidate will have a minimum of Mathematics and English at GCSE Grade ‘C' (or equivalent).  Initially offered as a Level 2 qualification, the right candidate will have the potential to progress to a Level 3 qualification.  It is hoped that, on successful completion of the apprenticeship, a permanent role will be offered.
