Hours of Work: Permanent, 37 hours per week, Term Time Only + 2 Weeks
Salary: Grade 6, Points 18 to 22, £16,150 to £18,464
Bluecoat Academies Trust is seeking to appoint a Science Technician to join our successful Trust wide Science Department in delivering an exceptional Science curriculum. We are a highly successful Trust, with an expanding number of academies covering the ages of 3-19 and operating across a growing number of campuses. The growth and development of our Multi-Academy Trust makes this an excellent opportunity to join us, as we seek to serve a growing number of young people across the region.
Science in particular has been a major contributor to the growth of the Sixth Form, with over 130 students taking A Level Chemistry and A Level Biology and over 70 students taking A Level Physics. The Science Technician posts are in place to help the Trust to continue to deliver the level of provision that attracted students to the Trust in these impressive numbers.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, confident and be able to work using their own initiative, ensuring that materials and resources required by teaching colleagues are available to enhance the quality of learning at our Trust.
