Production Operative/Machine Operator - Doncaster - GBP23,135 Pa Plus GBP3,110 Shift Allowance - Immediate Start!!
Initially a 3 - 6 month temporary contract with the view to become permanent for the right candidates if probation period is passed.
Venatu Consulting are currently working in partnership with our blue-chip manufacturing client in recruiting Production Operatives/Machine Operators based in Doncaster.
Job Purpose
As a machine operator, this position will work across the Site, where required, to perform all machine operations in accordance with the Company's health & safety, quality and other standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
* Conduct all set-up and quality operations in support of machining for self and others.
* Set-up and operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.).
* Loading and unloading products.
* Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work.
* General cleaning and any other tasks that are requested from management.
* Perform non-machine tasks when necessary: non-machine equipment operation, hand-work operations, inspections, saw-cut operations, etc.
* Support of machining for self and others. Set-up and operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork.
Ideal Candidate
* Reliable, trustworthy and hard working.
* Able to work in a small and independently.
* Organized and good time management skills.
* Experience using hand held tools or operating machinery.
* Able to problem solve.
* Heavy duty lifting when required.
* FLT licence would be beneficial.
Hours (shifts)
* 6am - 2pm
* 2pm - 10pm
* 10pm - 6am
* May be required to work 12 hour shifts of Days and Afters
