ROLE - QUALITY INSPECTOR (CMM & Manual)

SECTOR - ENGINEERING

BASED - DERBYSHIRE

SALARY - UP TO GBP27,500 + OVERTIME + BONUS + FLEX HOURS

The UK engineering and manufacturing Industry is continuing to lead the way and bring the economy back onto a strong financial footing. Hays Recruitment Specialise in the sourcing and supply of experienced shop floor engineers to companies across the midlands and with a new local hub in the midlands they are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector with CMM operating experience for a reputable multi industry engineering company. Due to increased work load and investment in expansion our preferred partner is looking to expand and bring in an experienced Inspector to work in a fast paced production environment to add to their already highly skilled workforce.

* ABOUT YOU -

- Have experience as an inspector within a precision engineering environment
- Be able to interpret engineering drawings.
- FAIRS and other quality reporting experience.
- 100% inspection experience
- Ideally be time served or have relevant Aerospace experience
- Be able to use Vernier's, Micrometer's, Caliper's, Gauge's etc
- Supporting of NPI activities - Experience of CMM's
- Experience of working to aerospace tolerances (microns) and quality standards.
- Knowledge of manual inspection as well as CMM inspection.
- Be able to complete reports to comply with quality standards
