Role profile:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project Development Manager with the development and implementation of the company marketing strategy.
Job tasks
General
• Present themselves and the business in a professional manner
• Support their Business Unit in delivering the aims of the business
• Ensure Company policies and procedures are being adhered to
• Actively engage in teambuilding/team working throughout the business
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required by the Business
Job specific
• Coordination of all internal and external marketing
• Planning, preparation and management of marketing campaigns
• Coordination of consultants and suppliers
• Proactively managing the company brand image internally and externally
• Updating and maintaining the CRM system
• Collating of information from Barbour ABI database
• Market research including preparation of statistics
• Monitoring website analytics and produce periodic reports
• Ensuring the company website is up to date - provide updated information to website designers
• Assisting in developing the social media strategy, including regular updating of social media
• Assisting in the design, management and issuing of company literature, including brochures, mailshots, leaflets
• Preparation of literature packs as required, primarily for prospect meetings
• Coordinate the production of the bi-monthly newsletter
• Completing and submitting Pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs)
• Assisting in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations for prospect meetings
• Assisting in the production of monthly departmental reports
• Electronic and digital filing as necessary
• General administrative assistance as required
Knowledge, training and experience required:
• Strong Maths and English skills
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and Environmental Safety requirements
• Computer literate with good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
• First Aid at Work preferred
• At least 2 years' experience working in a marketing role with similar responsibilities to those in this position
Key personal characteristics
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise within a busy workload
• Demonstrable ability to think ahead and use own initiative, working without supervision
• Approachable and able to build relationships with others
• Behaves in a professional manner
• Team player - actively helping and engaging in events and team working
• Takes ownership and is willing to see things through
• Always willing to continuously improve and adapt to changing situations with resilience
