JOB TITLE: Security Officer - Distribution Support
You must have a frontline SIA license/SIA Training certificates to apply for this role
SALARY: Site related pay of GBP7.20 - GBP7.50 per hour
LOCATION: Manchester and surrounding areas
TYPE: Permanent
Cordant Security is currently seeking Distribution Security Support Officers to join our teams in and around the Manchester area. You may be asked to cover multiple sites across our prestigious client base.
Job Overview:
You will ensure the safety and security of people, premises and property.
Principle Accountabilities:
* Access & Egress control
* Random staff searches
* Patrols of the inside and outside of premises
* CCTV monitoring
* Gatehouse & reception duties
Requirements:
* Frontline Security Guarding , Door Supervision or Close Protection SIA licence (or have passed the relevant SIA training and hold valid certificates).
* Fully comprehensive 5 year work/education history; including full company names, addresses and landline contact numbers.
* A full UK driving licence and access to transport is essential due to the sites you may be asked to cover
* Clear communication both written and verbal
* Excellent communication & administration skills
* Must be punctual and have the ability to think on their feet
* Experience of working on distribution sites would be advantageous

* Site related pay of GBP7.20 - GBP7.50 per hour
* Variable hours covering a mixture of days, nights & weekends up to 48+ hours per week. Officers will be required to cover 12 hour shifts. Applicants must be flexible and be available at short notice.

* 28 days annual leave per year inclusive of bank holidays
