HR Manager- Automotive A globally recognised, market leading Tier 1 supplier of world class Automotiveproducts, focussed on delivering the highest quality service to their customers, are now seeking a new HR Manager to help maintain their status as the supplier of choice to many of the world's foremost car makers. The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of automotive standards and have several years' experience in an Automotive Tier 1 environment. Location - Milton Keynes, Oxford, Banbury, Northampton, Warwick, Daventry Highly Competitive Salary + Benefits + Pension etc. The Challenge The HR Manager will be a key member of the management team with responsibility for the development and management of effective policies and procedures, which fully support the operational needs of the manufacturing operation.The role will be generalist and hands on in nature and supported by a small team. Responsibilities will focus on the promotion and management of the Employee Charter and in particular include employment policies and procedures, recruitment, training and development, performance appraisals, health and safety management and salary and benefits administration.To provide Human Resource strategic and hands on support for the site carried out within the principles of the company Employee Charter.Assisting, advising and supporting the Management Team and all staff on HR issues - providing a strategic approach to personnel activity.Liaise with other sites and Corporate facilities on HR projects and issuesManage the recruitment and selection process in line with plant requirements and UK HR and BOS proceduresTo Manage and provide systems and procedures in respect of absenteeism, induction, employee training and development, Health and Safety and employee relationsTo manage and administer a consistent approach to salary and benefits packagesTo provide timely and accurate information to corporate HR in respect of the Share Incentive PlanTo provide statistical and operational HR data as required, both on site and to corporate HR as requiredTo ensure compliance with BOS and TS 16949 Quality SystemsTo line manage the Human Resources teamOrganise the Employee Fairness Committee with the leadership of the GMTo manage the timely and accurate maintenance of employee records on Payroll, HRIS and in Personnel files.Interact with payroll as necessary to ensure that wages and salaries are paid correctly.
