Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company that can offer personalised development and a varied working day. As an Implementation Engineer you will be planning, developing and installing various networks and project based initiatives in the Education sector. This role involves local travel and site work as well as remote desktop support.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As I.T Implementation Engineer you will be responsible for:

-Design and or innovate new idea and technologies
-Programming and research
-Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests
-Extensive regular contact with assigned project clients
-Participating in client / contractor meetings and resolving client / engineering and management project issues
-Creating system and software architectures
-Developing, testing, and deploying software
-Software, network & cloud Systems Integration and testing
-Building commercial projects / products
-Conducting research and development
-Providing customized consulting services
-Application of systems analysis techniques and procedures
-Determine hardware, software or system functional specifications
-Assist in achieving project goals
-Work with multiple projects
-Interface with various departments
-Other jobs as assigned by supervisor

Responsibilities:

Planning, developing, installing and maintaining various network and project based initiatives. Investigating, analysing and resolving network incidents and problems.
Monitoring and management of network performance.

Engaging with initiatives and projects to provide advice regarding networking all aspects and supporting Field Service Team.

Knowledge of at least 3 of the following network protocols:

*IP
*VLANs
*VPNs

Abilities Required

-Self-starter, able to drive projects to completion in circumstances where little guidance and support is available
-A working knowledge of Watchguard and the Watchguard family of security appliances.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Office 365
-Exchange
-Must work well with others
-Customer focused
-Team player
-Flexible
