Purpose of post
This is a full time post to ensure that our Quality Assurance of training delivery meets the requirements of our funding contracts, Ofsted, Awarding Bodies and internal quality assurance processes.

You will be expected to plan, organise, deliver and internally quality assure training programmes within specified occupational areas to promote and develop the company in line with its mission and strategic objectives.

Reporting to a Senior Manager, you will liaise with the Area Manager to ensure that the performance management of the Assessor Team are being met.

You will be expected to travel across a dedicated geographical region including Hereford and areas extending to the North or South of England. On some occasions, you may be expected to stay overnight.

You will join the IQA Team with monthly meetings at our headquarters in Hereford as well as contributing to regional Assessor and Standardisation Meetings as required.

You will be a multi-competency IQA with previous experience of IQA across a range of occupational areas. Having a good understanding of all current government policies, you will take a lead on specific areas of apprenticeship delivery.

Roles and responsibilities

??Act as the IQA for the specified Occupational Areas (OA) in line with the Quality Assurance Strategy and Assessment and IQA Policy.
??Produce individual Assessor reports on Quality KPIs on a monthly basis to assist performance management.
??Plan and deliver Standardisation Meetings and Professional Development Activities.
??Plan and carry out observational IQA visits with Assessors, completing formative and Summative Sampling of learner portfolios.
??Liaise with the External Quality Assurance (EQA) on all aspects of a visit.
??Participate in and promote staff development and ensure continuous professional development (CPD) in line with the post and as agreed through the staff appraisal process in accordance with company policy.
??Contribute to the Induction Programme for new assessors within your OA.
??Support the IQA Team in the development of IQA Policies and procedures and Administration.
??Promote equality of opportunity throughout the company and all its activities.
??Any other duties that may be deemed necessary to meet the requirements of the post and company.
