Electrical Project Engineer

Our client is a market leader within the FMCG sector. This is a full time and permanent role for an Electrical Project Engineer based in Stockton on Tees, you will receive a basic salary of up to GBP40,000 with an excellent benefits package and unrivalled career prospects.

This is an exciting time for an Electrical Project Engineer to join them as they continue their journey towards being a LEAN enterprise, delivering customers with perfect quality products at the right time and place whilst minimising losses and maximising efficiency.

The Person

The Successful Project Engineer - (Electrical Engineering bias) can have industry experience in any high volume production environment such as Food, FMCG, Automotive, Pharmaceutical etc. To compliment your industry experience you will ideally be a time served Engineer / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, hold a 17th Edition IEE Regulations certificate and be educated to one of the following ONC, HNC, HND or Degree in a relevant subject.

You should be confident in your ability with a flexible and adaptable attitude to work, you will strive with your colleagues in the Engineering team to provide the maximum availability and efficiency of our clients equipment in a manufacturing environment. All Electrical Project Engineers are required to work on a day's only basis.

The Role

Working closely with department managers and reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the successful Project Engineer will be required to provide fault-finding support on a wide variety of Processing equipment. It would be helpful if you had some experience of a large scale manufacturing industry but our client is willing to consider other industry experience. You will need to be comfortable with the principles of continuous improvement as our client strives towards being a LEAN enterprise. The highest standards of workmanship and attitude are expected at all times combined with a true commitment to safety and zero accidents.
