Electrical Engineer - SAP / HV

Up to GBP55,000 plus benefits (bonus, pension, etc.)

Essex / UK based

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced HV Authorised Electrical Engineer / Senior Authorised Person / Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer, to be responsible for overseeing and managing a small team of technicians in the safe & efficient maintenance of a fleet of landfill power generation sets. Our client is a leading organisation within the renewable energy industry, with the opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join their team.

As the Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

* Reviewing current systems performance to ensure optimum operation
* Developing & updating maintenance strategies
* Acting as the SAP for the UK (11kv and below)
* Reporting on electrical systems, identifying improvements and opportunities for cost savings
* Assisting in LV & HV electrical system strategies
* Providing training where needed
* Other duties as required

To be considered for this role, you must be a HV authorised person with at least 5 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer. You should have a working knowledge of planned maintenance management systems, managing safe systems of work, electrical maintenance experience (switching 11kv & 33kv systems), etc. Ideally you will have an appropriate engineering qualification (MEng or BEng).

This is a field based position covering several sites based in the UK (mostly in the Essex area), therefore a full & clean UK driving licence is essential.

The package on offer for this role includes an attractive basic salary up to GBP55,000 (depending on experience) plus company benefits including bonus & pension.
