Our client an established manufacturer of diesel driven generators with supplies to markets including industrial, marine, offshore & oil and gas require a determined, ambitious and outgoing individual to join their sales team.
Experience of selling technical equipment would be an advantage, however this is not a mandatory requirement and candidates without this experience should be able to prove their ability to understand technical subjects.
The successful candidate will be given product training on all equipment.
The key activities will include:
•Compiling tenders for existing clients for power generation equipment.
•Negotiating and building relationships with customers, both foreign & domestic.
•Providing clients with pre-sales assistance, and product education.
•Searching for new clients, and researching new markets for the client's products.
•Producing sales figures for management team, and achieving mutually agreed sales targets.
With experience, the successful candidate would be expected to be willing to travel both within the UK and overseas to meet existing customers and build relationships with new customers.
The package on offer is very competitive, with a basic salary based on experience, and bonus linked to profits on the individuals' sales.
This is a full time position, 9 am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and working from the offices based in Pickering, North Yorkshire
