Miller's Vanguard are a long established company with a proud history of local investment and family values, and are the UK's leading service, maintenance and supply company for major supermarket chains. Providing Rapid Response, Preventative Maintenance and Account Management.

Based in our FM Centre, this role provides technical assistance (for Bakery and Catering devices) to our field-based Engineers .

Reporting to the Technical Desk Manager this role will involve:

• being responsible for the quick and efficient response to Engineer queries
• Ensuring that the pre-determined Service Level Agreements are met
• Call screening and liaising with customers at store level to enable you to 'pre-empt' the parts required to repair a device.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and be able to read and decipher technical details from manuals and blue prints
• Working as part of a small team within a customer focused environment, you will be an effective communicator with an excellent telephone manner and strong IT skills (Microsoft Office packages)
• A sound knowledge of component parts and a technical understanding of bakery and catering equipment is essential.
• Electrical qualification is desirable

The ideal candidate will also have a flexible approach to working hours as this role requires working weekends on a rota basis
