Miller's Vanguard are a long established company providing industry leading maintenance service to the UK's major supermarket chains. We provide rapid reactive engineering support, planned preventative maintenance and other ancillary services for all food production equipment in store.
A new vacancy has arisen for a Business Development Manager to work alongside our internal account management, administration, senior management and field based teams to generate leads and sales for additional services within our current customer base.

Principal Accountabilities:

• To liaise with technicians and engineers in the field on a daily basis to generate leads of additional service 'jobs' within customer premises
• Proactively identify new business initiatives to enhance the sale opportunities of our services
• To drive sales of certain services through proactive communication of internal stakeholders
• To generate a targeted amount of revenue through the company's additional services

The suited candidate will possess:

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills are required
• Tenacious and pro-active approach to daily work tasks
• Flexible and adaptable attitude
• Can work unsupervised and under own initiative
• A strong commercial awareness / sales orientated
• Technical Sales / Engineering background

Salary GBP30K per annum, Full Company Uniform, Pension Scheme
