2x Process Engineer (Weekend Shift Pattern)
Are you an experienced Process Engineer that has experience working in the Aerospace, Automotive or other precision (highly regulated industry) engineering manufacturing facility? If so, my client, a world leader in aerospace equipment and systems on board commercial, regional and business aircraft as well as helicopters are interested in speaking with you for an exciting new project to open a 24 hour, 7 days a week manufacturing venture.
My client design, certifies and assembles innovative, personalized and high added value products for 1st, business and premium economy aircraft cabins, this specific division focuses on high end products and is a composites centre of excellence for the group company.
THE SALARY/RATE/PACKAGE/BENEFITS
2x Process Engineer (Weekend Shift Pattern)
Shift Details
We are looking to build a team of people to make the manufacturing plant operate 24/7 at full capacity; this means that an entire team of people are required from management through to operations. This is a critical shift pattern for the company's performance/projected productivity targets, specific shift times are below:
• Friday - Sunday - 3 days, 36 hours in total - 6am-6pm - 12 hour shifts
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a shorter working week or someone to take on an additional contract at the weekends.
Rates
• Rates are to be discussed with the recruitment consultants that manage the vacancy, it is a long term rolling contract and they will be prepared to pay the right amount for the right person
• Circa GBP30-GBP40 per hour (DOE)
Location
• Surrey - Camberley, Blackwater, Bracknell, Farnborough
THE CANDIDATE

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Requirements
• This must be a flexble character that is able to work Friday - Sunday across the weekend shift (12 hours shifts - 6am-6pm)
• Must have experience developing and implementing manufacturing assembly processes
• Have a passion for improvement and is results orientated
• A strong manufacturing / production / engineering background for companies (Assembly manufacturing companies)
Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Requirements
• If someone has experience working in the aerospace industry / composite material manufacturing experience that would be a plus
• Sub assembly / bonding manufacturing experience
THE ROLE
2x Process Engineer (Weekend Shift Pattern)
Job requirements/tasks and responsibilities
• Responsible for the process within designates area / areas in order to achieve products volumes and quality targets - whilst minimising operating costs
• Developing and implementing equipment, procedure and process changes including the design and implementation of improvement projects
• Spot, make recommendations and implement improvements in process performance
• Using statistical techniques / methodical approaches - 4D / 8D problem solving tools and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PMFEA) to improve process capability
• Identify root cause causes of problems and implement improvement opportunities
