We are seeking a Bought Ledger Manager to join our dynamic Finance team. The role is based in our Head Office in Bexhill on the South Coast.

About the role:

* Responsible for effectively and efficiently leading and coordinating the Bought Ledger Function, ensuring payments to both suppliers and staff expenses are accurate, controlled and processed on time
* Liaise with suppliers, business areas and stakeholders to eliminate the causes of recurring reconciliation differences and other adjustments arising from transactions
* Seek and develop opportunities for change on current working practices and processes
* Produce, maintain and analyse statistical data, including but not limited to HMRC and statutory reporting requirements, P11d, VAT and accruals
* Deal with any complaints from internal or external customers, ensuring these are reviewed, resolved and actions put in place to remove the root cause

About you:

* AAT qualified or extensive experience in a senior bought ledger or accounts payable role
* Experience developing teams and driving performance levels
* Working knowledge of accounting processes including double entry and prime books of account
* Experience of complaint resolution
* Effective communication and influencing skills
