Graduate Java Developer - Chorley

Graduate Java Developer sought by an award winning, market leading software house operating within the energy industry.

You'll bring intelligence, a passion to learn and grow a highly successful software development career. They'll bring industry standard setting training, coaching and support within close knit development squads and a chance to work on a range of cutting edge, topical software applications!

You'll have a chance to work on front AND back end development depending on what works for you, while picking up experience with a wide range of current technologies including (but not limited to) Java 8, Spring 4, JQuery, JSON, HTML5 / CSS3, JavaScript, Cassandra, Hadoop, RabbitMQ, Apache Camel, *****, Groovy, jOOQ and more.

Don't worry if you haven't had a chance to work with these yet... as long as you can prove you've a good fundamental understanding of Object Oriented Development with Java (or C#, if you're open to cross-training), Database Structures (SQL etc.) and Web Development - they'll do the rest!

Will suit a smart, driven Computer Science graduate or a graduate with a highly analytical degree and a passion to build a career in development.
